How To Make Vegan Spinach Dip
Whether it be a big game like the Super Bowl or a small family gathering, chips and dip is always a good idea! Spinach dip is one of my favorites because it’s filling and easy to make, with little ingredients. This satisfying vegan spinach dip is filled with gooey, yumminess!
I tweaked a recipe from Karissa’s Vegan Kitchen. It takes 10-15 minutes to make the dip. Grab & prep:
INGREDIENTS:
2 of teaspoons oil
1 small chopped yellow onion
5 cloves of minced garlic
6 ounces of chopped, fresh baby spinach
1 and a half cup of vegan cream cheese (12 ounces)
1/2 cup vegan mayo
A few sprinkles of paprika, salt, pepper, Old Bay & habanero hot sauce to taste
HOW TO MAKE VEGAN SPINACH DIP:
Add oil to your pan
Toss in onion and saute until translucent.
Add in garlic and let it cook for 1 minute.
Put spinach in last, by the handful. Cook down.
Set aside the mix and let it cool.
In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, mayo and paprika.
Add your spinach/onion/garlic medley into the bowl.
If it’s too thick, add a touch of plant milk to soften the mix.
Sprinkle in the rest of your spices and hot sauce.
Chill and serve cold. Add to a charcuterie tray or keep it simple alongside chips.
Here’s what my version looked like once I tweaked the original recipe:
When I dip, you dip, we dip! What's your favorite way to pair spinach dip? Chips and dip, add it to a bread bowl or charcuterie tray?
